Summer Dress Steals

I found both of these dresses at Forever 21 and they are the perfect, simple, summer dresses I am always looking for. I saw the white one tucked in a rack with a bunch of random tank tops and it was such a hidden gem, literally someone probably hid it but I am glad I found it before they came back for it.

You really have to hunt through the never ending racks of clothing, different displays and blinding florescent lights to find the best things at a Forever 21 store. I am always happy to come away with a couple basic pieces like a black body con dress or a kimono that I can blend into my wardrobe, and it is exciting to find a really cute piece like this one.

Shopping Forever 21 online is just as daunting, but much easier to navigate. That is where I scored this paisley dress and a couple black slips and off the shoulder dresses for less than $10 each!

I also saw the lemon one online at Zawful (which I have never ordered from and have heard very mixed reviews about) so check there if you want to find it because I haven’t seen it online at Forever recently. There are so many other cute and flirty dresses online right now and you can’t beat the prices for wanting to try a trend.

Side note: I know they aren’t the most ethical brand and I am working on not shopping at such huge and wasteful chains as much, and I know this dress is very For Love and Lemons inspired, but they have really cute stuff for a total range in body types and personal styles and I can’t resist walking through the madness a couple times a year.

The blue paisley wrap one I just got during the Black Friday in July sale for $8! You can find it here (it’s $12 now, which is still crazy cheap especially because it looks really nice and flattering on and the pattern is really lovely.) I wore it around Solvang and Santa Barbara and it was perfect in the heat, the only problem on both of these dresses is the flutter factor if it is windy. (I had a couple Marilyn moments as you can see below.)
