Weekly Roundup: Fall Vibes and Some Recent Favorites

Weekly Roundup: Fall Vibes and Some Recent Favorites

This month our family welcomed the arrival of my brother and his wife’s baby girl. She’s perfect and I love her and will be spoiling her forever. I got my sister in law this Goosebumps robe and matching baby beanie and swaddle. I got myself a t-shirt and adult swaddle because I don’t have kids, but I do like to be comfy.  Plus it’s a small business and made in the USA!

Trader Joe’s Maple Butter is as good as it sounds and is even better paired with the Pancake Loaf. Add both to your list for your next Trader Joe’s haul.

House on A Sugar Hill shared an awesome tip to help your pumpkins last all season long. Give them a quick bath in a mix of 4 cups of water + 1tbs of bleach then pat dry.

In more pumpkin decor news, I got this table runner and love it. I like to stick with black and orange for my Halloween table scape but am going to bust this out the beginning of November for Thanksgiving.

I would like to get this cardigan. Sassy grandma vibes.

My favorite Boy Smells candle from the PRIDE collection is rumoured to be going away. Get one or two while you can. I found some from other online retailers here and here. Fellow candle lover Ashley Hosmer said she has a backup one to keep pretty and one to burn, so naturally I also followed that logic and ordered two.

Speaking of candles this pumpkin one smells like something I want to eat. I got two of the tall glitzy ones to decorate my table with this year.

I recently reread one of my favorite books, Pattie Boyd’s biography. I love the music history and the Rock & Roll drama, but my favorite part is this quote. “Life is about how situations affect each one of us and how much each of us can tolerate.”  A great reminder about how relative everything people go through is, and not to judge people on how you think they should experience things.

I’ve been getting my steps in by my desk with this portable climber.

My husband surprised me by setting up this night light in our bedroom. Now we move it all around the house and it feels like we’re in Space.

Now that it’s Fall I am excited to make this pumpkin pasta bake again.

I’d like to add these to my coaster collection.

And I’d like to write someone a letter on this floral stationery. Or send something in these envelopes from Paper Source.

Lastly, as an over worrier, this quote caught my attention. I googled it and liked this little post about it. “Don’t borrow trouble.”
