New Year Jams 2021

A playlist full of upbeat alt songs with catchy choruses to get stuck in your head and play on repeat for a while. Sorry Michael….

This playlist has been going strong since New Years Eve and I am certain that when any song from this playlist plays in the coming months I will be transported back to eating Chinese food, drinking champagne and trying to stay up till midnight. Pretty happy about that.

Thanks Alt Nation for introducing me to a few of these songs over the past year. The Sirius XM Alt Nation top 36 from the year has a few of these on there and when I was in the car last week I caught it counting down from #22, heard a song I knew I would be obsessed with then had to get out to run errands. I didn’t have time to Shazam the song and was trying to find it for a while with no luck. Then I was driving a couple days later and the countdown came on again this time counting down from #25 so I just camped out in the Costco parking lot till the song came on. I’m a sucker for a good chorus which is where most of these songs really shine.
