Fresh and Easy 3 Ingredient Watermelon Margaritas
I made these for the 4th of July and am going to be making them again for my Summer BBQ my friend and I host every year. It is such an easy recipe to whip up and you can make it in a big or small batch. I definitely recommend making a bigger pitcher though, because they go fast and are a big hit with guys too even if they say they’ll just have a beer!
This is something easy to make which is nice because it doesn’t take away from enjoying a party that you are hosting and they are a big crowd pleaser.
Ingredients (for 1 large pitcher) :
-Watermelon … 1 Large
-Silver Tequila of choice
-Limes … 5-6
-*Limeade … 1 bottle, *optional if you like your drinks sweeter
To Make:
- Scoop out watermelon with an ice-cream scoop, ladle or large spoon.
- Put melon pieces into high speed blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- In a cup, combine ice and a shot or two of silver tequila.
- Pour watermelon mixture on top.
- Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lime into drink and stir.
- Drink, enjoy, repeat!
You can make more of the watermelon base quickly when you run out, or keep another blended batch in the fridge. Feel free to add sugar or limeade to the mixture if you prefer to have a sweeter margarita, but the watermelon adds the perfect amount of natural sugar.
While I love to have this as a watermelon margarita, it goes great with vodka or rum so you can set it up like a DIY bar and have people add their favorite alcohol to the mix.
Enjoy responsibly! They are so refreshing and taste like you are just eating a piece of fresh watermelon so it is easy to lose track of how many you’ve had. (At least the watermelon is super hydrating though!)
Yes! I love how easy these look to throw together, and I love watermelon!!
Can’t wait to try this recipe! This is definitely one for the Pinterest boards!

Yum!! Have you tried adding mint or basil? So good!
Hi Sarah! Yes! I added mint once in the blender it was so good. Like a mojito margarita hybrid!
Oh no! Someone at the party was allergic as well! I bet mango or pineapple would work well if you wanted to try another fruit base!
